Herodotus 1:1
The Persian learned men say that the Phoenicians were the cause of the dispute. These came to our seas from the sea which is called Red.

Herodotus 7.89
These Phoenicians formerly dwelt, as they themselves say, by the Red Sea; they crossed from there and now inhabit the seacoast of Syria.

Herodotus 4.42
Necos king of Egypt first discovered this and made it known. When he had finished digging the canal which leads from the Nile to the Arabian Gulf. He sent Phoenicians in ships, instructing them to sail on their return voyage past the Pillars of Heracles until they came into the northern sea and so to Egypt. [3] So the Phoenicians set out from the Red Sea and sailed the southern sea; whenever autumn came they would put in and plant the land in whatever part of Libya they had reached, and there await the harvest; [4] then, having gathered the crop, they sailed on, so that after two years had passed, it was in the third that they rounded the pillars of Heracles and came to Egypt.

Nimrud Slab (811 to 783 BCE)
From the bank of the Euphrates, the land of Hatti, the land of Amurru in its entirety, the land of Tyre, the land of Sidon, the land of Humri, the land of Edom, the land of Palastu, as far as the great sea of the setting sun. I imposed tax and tribute on them

"Great sea of the setting sun"

Red Sea ימ דמ

אדמ "Red"
דמ "Blood"
φοινός "Blood Red" (αἵματι φοινόν - Lliad 16:159)
αιμ - "Blood" ( αιμ - αδμ - אדמ )
ϝοῖνος - "Wine"

Homer uses the phrase the word οἶνοψ too describe the Sea at sunset, that sets in the West.

ימ "Sea/West"
- Lliad 2:613 - Crossing the wine-dark sea. (οἴνοπα πόντον)

The Hebrew word for Greece is יון (Yavan) and according too the Lexicon from יין "Wine"
and thus the Mediterranean is the Red Sea ימ דמ .

Phoenician Dye is Red.

The word סלה/ ψαλῶ "Pluck/Twitch" so the Psalms were played on a כנור (kinnowr) "Lyre"
and this word is rendered ψαλτήριον (Psaltherion) in Genesis 4:21

The strings of the Lyre are made from the fibres of the Palm Tree.

A word for string , פתיל rendered δακτύλιος in Genesis 38:25 and the context here is Tamar .

Speaking and singing is often likened in Hebrew to growth, and hence זִמְרָה ZIMRAH, 'singing', and זְמוֹרָה ZMORAH, 'branch', both of the root זמר ZMR.
I think that the fraction TA of TAMAR is not radical, to wit: תמר ‫=‬ אתה‫-‬מר TAMAR = ATAH-MAR, where MAR is 'noble'.

Song 5:10 is paralleled in Lamentations 4:7 and both verse uses the words צח and אדמ.

Lam describes Nazarites meaning "untrimmed vines" from the root word is זמר ( Zamar ) "Prune" or τέμεις (Temeis)

זמר also the word for Psalm.

ZMR - Psalm (ψαλμός)
TMR - Palm (παλμός)

ψλμ > ψμλ/זמר
πλμ > πμλ/תמר

The first word in Songs 5:10 is the word Breasts or στῆθος τιτθός, μαστός
and related too תות שד "Fruit" such as the Mulberry.

Songs 7:7 - breasts are like a clusters of grapes.
Isaiah 32:12 - They shall lament for the teats
Eze 23:3 - They bruised the teats of their virginity
Hos 9:14 - Dry breasts (σταφίδα )

The Greek word for Grapes, σταφύλη is שד־פל "Breasts that plummet down" and the Hebrew word, כרם from κρεμάω "Hanging down" (Vines) and this Semitic confusion invented the Hanging Gardens of Babylon that nobody can find.

Song 5:10 - My Fruits are translucent and red

Also, as דגל DGL is related to סגל SGL.
Deut. 7:6
‎כִּי עַם קָדוֹשׁ אַתָּה לַיהֹוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּךָ בָּחַר יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לִהְיוֹת לוֹ לְעַם סְגֻלָּה מִכֹּל הָעַמִּים אֲשֶׁר עַל-פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה
KJV: "For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth."
Namely, עַם סְגֻלָּה, 'a significant nation'.

Song 5:10 דּוֹדִי צַח וְאָדוֹם, דָּגוּל מֵרְבָבָה is translated as, NIV: "My beloved is radiant and ruddy, outstanding among ten thousand." Namely, towering over them as a banner over a host.
Note also how דגל DGL is related to שגל $GL, 'to mount, to be over.'

Genesis 37:3 - Coat of many colours. ( כתנת פסים)
2 Samuel 13:18 - Tamar had a garment of divers colours ( כתנת פסים)
* Phoenix (תמר) of many colours.

כתנת : χιτώνη, κιθών "Garment"
פסים : πόκος, ποικίλος "Wool , many-coloured'

According too Herodotus, the feathers of the Phoenix are Red & Gold and resembles an Eagle.

Ezekiel 17:3
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, long winged, full of feathers, which had divers colours and came unto Lebanon.

The word φοῖνιξ begins with Φ (Phi) and this is ק (Qop) so the word φοιν- becomes קין/קן "Nest".

Numbers 24:21
Kenites (קיני/φοίνικος) dwell in the Nest (νεόσσιον קנ)
* νεόσσιον - נשא
* νῆσος "Island"

The feathers of the Phoenix are called אבר (Abrah) from ἀβαρῆ (Abarah) or πτερά (Ptera) , wings are Kanaph (כנפ) / κνέφας (Knephas).

According too Herodotus, the Phoenix appear once in 500 years and Noah was 500 years old when he begat Shem (Phoenix) and i suspect the number based on the Pentecontad calendar , 16 months or the time it takes for the Phoenician too return from there sea voyages.
