Does anyone know what happened to the archives (incomplete as they were) at ibiblio?

I was asked about them yesterday, but was unable to log into them to see any of the messages.

Did anyone else archive the messages, or did everyone do as I did, trust ibiblio?

Karl, I found this set of B-Hebrew archives with a Google search ("b-hebrew archives ibiblio.org"): https://lists.ibiblio.org/pipermail/b-hebrew/

It covers the period of 1997 to 2019 (with a couple of odd years, dated "2056" and "1904"). From reading one of the threads ( I failed to note which), it seems the archives do not have their own search engine. Probably could find some things with a Google or other search engine though.

Dewayne, thank you for finding it. I looked through some of them, and it appears that several postings from 2011 are missing.

is this forum archived if so where? it's a common problem with forums, ltos of info gets wiped out when something happens in the future re the management of it and they disappear

Unlike old-style discussion email lists, forums like this one "archive" their postings (and uploaded attachments) in the forum itself. There's no special place for them. Just use the search to find them, or browse a subforum thread.

You can use Google search (https://google.com) in this way:

keyword site:http://site/domain/forum

so:

pronunciation site:http://bhebrew.biblicalhumanities.org/

Here's more information about the details of doing it this way.

The advantage of using Google search is the full set of search options and features.
