There is also evidence in the New Testament, in the Book of Hebrews.
Hebrews 9:4 - the golden pot that had manna
Exodus 16:31 - the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
Psalm 104:16 - The trees of the Lord are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon which he hath planted
Songs 4:11 - Thy lips, my spouse, drop as honeycomb, honey and milk are under thy tongue; and smell of thy garments is like smell of Lebanon.
They are no cedar trees in Egypt.
Cedrus libani produces cones at around the age of 40; it flowers in autumn, the male cones appear in early September and the female ones in late September.
Exodus 16:35- the children of Israel did eat manna 40 years
מן/μάννα appears in the works of Hippocrates (460 BCE – 370 BCE) referring to the resin of the Cedrus libani (μάννα λιβάνου)
