Lee, partly out of curiosity I looked at the last two passages you refer to.
The Odysseus passage (22.422) does not use ἔργα to translate weaving. The reference to weaving occurs in the next line, εἴριά τε ξαίνειν καὶ δουλοσύνην ἀνέχεσθαι, which gives specificity to the generic reference to ἔργα in the previous line.
As for 2 Kings 23:7, I can see no use of ἔργα or ἐργάζεσθαι in the LXX. An entirely different Greek word is used for weaving.
I do not understand the relevance of discussing ἔργα in the context of the Biblical Hebrew in Psalm 139:13.
Psalm 139:13

@Schubert:
You'll find Lee's "assertions" about Hebrew and Greek words to be extremely tentative at best. And that's giving the assertions too much credit to even call them "extremely tentative".

- ארגון, ἁλουργῶν 'Purple', ἔργων /ארג .
The word ארגים is translated into ἐργαζομένους in Isaiah 19:9.
Proverb 31:22 - Ornamental coverings she hath made for herself, Silk and purple are her clothing.
The word 'ארג' also the root of ἀράχνης, as in the word Arachnid

Re: Psalm 139:13
In Job 40:22
יְסֻכֻּהוּ צֶאֱלִים צִלְלוֹ יְסֻבּוּהוּ עַרְבֵי נָחַל
KJV: "The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about"
יְסֻכֻּהוּ = היא-ס-הוּא-כ-הוּא-הוּא from the root סך is: 'will tower יִשְׂגוּ over him'.
Similarly Ps. 91:4
בְּאֶבְרָתוֹ יָסֶךְ לָךְ וְתַחַת כְּנָפָיו תֶּחְסֶה
and Ps. 140:7(8)
יהוה אֲדֹנָי עֹז יְשׁוּעָתִי סַכֹּתָה לְרֹאשִׁי בְּיוֹם נָשֶׁק
סכן is like the סגן, 'chief, principal, superior, councilor, attendant', of Jer. 51:57
וְהִשְׁכַּרְתִּי שָׂרֶיהָ וַחֲכָמֶיהָ פַּחוֹתֶיהָ וּסְגָנֶיהָ וְגִבּוֹרֶיהָ
KJV: "I will make her officials and wise men drunk, her governors, officers and warriors as well"
