Ezekiel 21:21 "turn right"

Post by Kenneth Greifer »

Ezekiel 21:21 says "turn right" הֵימִ֖נִי, but shouldn't it say הומיני?

I think the verb "turn" might not be the command form, but the infinitive.

The Hiphil can come with the Y also

check היליכי (based on ילך)
Ex. 2:9

and also היטיבי (based on יטב)
in Isa. 23:16

Ex. 2:9 also היטיבי (based on יטב)
in Isa. 23:16
Exodus 2:9 also has the hiphil form of the verb

Thank you for pointing these quotes out.
