Unicode/XML Leningrad Codex: Proposed changes for next release (1 Apr 2024)
Posted: Fri Dec 01, 2023 2:04 pm
The current, proposed text changes for UXLC 2.1 (1 Apr 2024) are now up at:
<https://tanach.us/Changes/2024.04.01%20 ... hanges.xml>.
These changes include 91 corrections to Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, 1 & 2 Chronicles, and others graciously and conveniently provided by Daniel Holman. Ben Denckla has assisted in the review of these changes. Your comments on these changes are solicited.
A new feature has been added to the display of changes: Under "Change summary" is a pulldown list "Select Change item type:' ; selecting a menu item from this provides a display of a particular type of change, i.e. "Vowels", "NoAction", etc. Menu item "All" goes back to the full display.
The menu item "* items" displays particularly perplexing transcription issues. Eight such changes occur for the 1 Apr 2024 release.
Other changes in the text will be gladly considered.
