I am in a debate about the word שלאנן and it's root שאנן or שאן
and some claim that ל was inserted into שלאנן in the Qumran scrolls.
שלה - To be at rest, prosper, be quiet, be at ease
שאן - To be at ease, be at peace, rest, rest securely, be quiet
שלם - Peace, quiet, tranquillity, contentment
I propose that the root meaning of שלם is של־ימ "stillness of the sea"
and the root of γαλήνη (galḗnē).
שלה "Rest, ease, prosper"
שלוה "prosperity "
γαλήνη "Calm Sea"
εἰρήνη "Peace"
σελήνῃ "Moon"
Sal "Sea" (Latin)
θάλασσα "Sea"
σάλασσα "Sea" (Doric)
ἠέλιος "Sun"
מ/ל (spiritus lenis & spiritus asper )
שאן : דם
שאנן : דםם
דממ < שממ < שלמ "Rest"
רדמ < לממ < שממ "Sleep"
שלש < שמש > Sōlus "Sun"
שלמים < שמים > Coelum/οὐρανὸν "Sky"
עום < עולם/αἰών , עלם - χρόνος, τέλους , γαληνιάω "Time"
רדמ (Radam) "Sleep"
δαρθάνω "Darthan" (Od. 20.143)
תרדמה (Tardemah)
τάρταρον (Tartarus)
κελαινός (Kelainos) "black, dark"
שנא (shehah) "sleep"
ישן (yashen) "sleep"
נום (num) "sleep"
Somnus (Latin)
Soper ( Latin)
Hypnos (Greek)
Koiman (κοιμᾶν) "Lull too sleep"
Cemetry
שאול (shĕ'owl) "Hell, Hades, Grave"
- γαληνιάω "To find peace, a place of rest"
Ancient Hebrew word for cemetery is בית עולמ (bayith owlam) (οἶκον γαληνιόων ) "Eternal Home" *Ecc 12:5
ᾅδη "Hades"
- עדה (`adah) "to pass away"
- עד (`ad) "perpetuity, for ever, continuing future"
- ἀίδιον /ἄιον "everlasting, eternal"
Job 21:23
One dies in his full strength, being wholly at ease (שלאנן ) and quiet (שליו)

Re: שלם
Perhaps explains the poetry in Joshua 10:13
ידם ה שמש : ἔστη ὁ ἥλιος
יעמד ה שמש : ἔστη ὁ ἥλιος
They are two words describing the event and perhaps the original word was עמם "to dim, darken, eclipse".
This event was after the fall of Tyre (Joshua 5-6) in 332 BCE then this must be the Eclipse of Alexander on September 20, 331 BCE.

Re: שלם
שאה is like צאה, 'came out, extended'.
