Zechariah 9:3 is a good example of harmony between the two.
צר מצור > Τύρος ὀχυρώματα
Elsewhere in the Septuagint, צור & צר translate ὀχυρός "firm, lasting, stout (of places, strong, secure)"
but with the prefix, מצור is ὀχύρωμα "stronghold, fortress, prison" cf. מצרים, Ugarit, Tyre.
טיט/θίς "Sand"
אפר/ἄπυρος "dust, gold-dust, unsmelted" (אופיר, אפיר, אופר) > Ophir, Aurum, Au.
חרוץ/χρυσός "gold"
יובב/ἄπεφθος "boiled down"
פז/ψήχω "rubbed down"
מופז/ψήγμα "that which is rubbed, gold-dust, of dust and ashes"
זהב, דהב, איוב/ξάνθου "yellow, golden"
