A friend of mine looking today at my לוּלב assembly remarked that my attached ערבוֹת, ARAVAH branches, 'willows', see Lev. 23:40
וּלְקַחְתֶּם לָכֶם בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן פְּרִי עֵץ הָדָר כַּפֹּת תְּמָרִים וַעֲנַף עֵץ עָבֹת וְעַרְבֵי נָחַל
NIV: "On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees—from palms, willows and other leafy trees"
KJV: "40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook"
are already קמוּשוֹת - כמוּשוֹת Looking at them I realized what he means, but recalling the related roots

gave me greater insight of what it means: their leaves are folded up, קמוּטוֹת and קמוּצוֹת, and wilting (a wilting willow).
