It seems to me that גֵּיחֲזִי = גע-היא-אחז-היא, namely, "a poker and a grabber." See 2Kings 4:27 for his rough treatment of the noble woman (וַיְהִי הַיּוֹם וַיַּעֲבֹר אֱלִישָׁע אֶל שׁוּנֵם וְשָׁם אִשָּׁה גְדוֹלָה וַתַּחֲזֶק בּוֹ לֶאֱכָל-לָחֶם Kings(2) 4:8) of Shunem in her moment of distress:
וַיִּגַּשׁ גֵּיחֲזִי לְהָדְפָהּ
KJV: "but Gehazi came near to thrust her away"
