I am one of two "Site Administrators" as well as a "Moderator" for the B-Hebrew forum. I am responsible for the "look and feel" of the forum, so complaints may be directed to him me about that! I have been a moderator of B-Hebrew since 1996.

I am also an ordained Baptist pastor (not currently active), and hold an MDiv from Talbot Graduate School of Theology (La Mirada, California) and an MA and PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles in Northwest Semitic Languages and Literature. My dissertation was entitled Toward a Discourse Grammar of Biblical Hebrew (1985). I am a past Program Unit Chair of the Computer Assisted Research Group of the Society of Biblical Literature. My interests include general and computational linguistics, Hebrew grammar and syntax, as well as the ancient near east, generally. On a personal level, I am Amateur Radio operator (general class; callsign KB3TLA) and I've been studying the oboe for the past eight years.

My day job is President and Senior Research Fellow of the J. Alan Groves Center for Advanced Biblical Research (aka The Groves Center), perhaps best known for the Westminster Hebrew Morphology found in most Bible software and elsewhere. The Groves Center also maintains The Westminster Leningrad Codex available to the public at http://www.tanach.us/Tanach.xml.
