http 500 error

Post by Kenneth Greifer »

I am having trouble seeing b-hebrew lately. The site keeps disappearing and saying something like http 500 error and then if I refresh, it starts again. Is it my computer?

Yes, we aware of the problem. You might notice similar problems on B-Greek. We've initiated a trouble report with our ISP, ibiblio.org, and waiting for their response. One decision we've made: once the server issue is resolved, we plan on upgrading the forum software, which is a couple of generations out of date.

It being the holiday season, events may move slowly. When you get the error, keep trying to reload. It usually (for me, anyway) clears up after the second or third try.

Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. I'll keep the forum updated as we move forward.

Blessings,
Kirk

I haven't heard from the ibiblio folks. I have an appointment with the list owner on Tuesday regarding the forum software upgrade. He probably knows the current status of the trouble ticket.

In any case, I'm glad things are going well--for the moment!
