Jericho - City of Palm trees

1. Jericho, the city of palm trees ( KJV)
2. Round fortified city of the Phoenicians

The Septuagint reads הככר בקעת as one word περίχωρα "Round place" for the word ככר is κύκλῳ "Ring/Circle".

1. περίχωρος "Round Place"
2. περιοχή "containing, enclosing"
3. περιοικέω "Dwell around"
4. Ιεριχω "Jericho"

Dwell, Sitting place"
Dwell, Reside, booth"

The first time Jordan appears in the Torah, it's described as a ככר (Kikkar) but reads as περίχωρον
in Genesis 13:11 and oddly described in Joshua.

Josh 6:1 Jordan was straitly shut
* סגרת (Sagarat)
συγκεκλεισμένη (LXX)

(Masagarat)

The word κύκλῳ describes the two rivers of Eden as a translation of סבב.

The first river is called פישון /Φισων also written קישון.

This river described in Judges 5:21 as קדומים נחל "Qaduwm nachal"
and the word קדומים is φθάμενος from φθάνω (קθάν > קθν > קדמ)

Flowing in winter"
Plain"

The word πεδίον appear as Padan Aram (פדנה ארם) from πεδίον ἁρμῶν "Plain between two junctions"
although the translators tend to confuse this with Mesopotamia, but this is the Plain
between the two junctions of Orontes & Litani called Coele-Syria or Beqaa (בקעה ).

This could be a place-name "Tamaria" or perhaps "Samaria".

According too Kings, Samaria was founded by Omri and note the similarity between עמרי (Omri) and עמרה (Amorah/Gomorrah).

Throughout the Bible, Sodom is paired with Gomorrah but in Ezekiel, Sodom is paired
with Samaria.

Ezekiel 16:34
Elder sister is Samaria & Younger sister is Sodom

Omri & Gomorrah
Samaria, Wine
Palm Tree
Gamar
Wine

Psalm 75:8
The wine is RED (יין חמר) (Gk.
dregs (שמר) - (Gk.

Isaiah 25:6
wines on the lees well refined
