Genesis 1:7 - רקיע

Post by Saboi »

The Sky & Earth was made anew (ברא) as it does every year and this is based on the Pentecontad calendar that divides
the year into Seven.

The firmament was made (יעש) and the word רקיע is from τρόχους means "running course, circle or wheel"
and this wheeled construction is detailed in Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 1:23 - Under the firmament
Ezekiel 1:26 - Above the firmament

Gen 1:7
Hezekiah built the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament .

2 Chronicles 32:30
Hezekiah also stopped the upper watercourse of Gihon (Gen 2:13), and brought it straight down to the west side of the city of David. And Hezekiah prospered in all his works.

Isaiah 39:8 > 2 Kings 20:20 "Hezekiah built a pool and a conduit and brought water into the city " Isaiah 39:8 - Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah ... Isaiah 41:18 "I (Hezekiah) will open rivers(Gen 2:10) and i will make the wilderness a pool of water(Gen 6:17).
*the second part of Isaiah is the continuous dialogue of Hezekiah (Ἀσζέ Μιλκος )
