Gen. 11:29-30 and Gen. 15:3. faithful to one woman

Post by Isaac Fried »

We read there
KJV: "And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah. But Sarai was barren; she had no child"

Gen. 15:3
KJV: "And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir"

Still, he did not take another wife.
