גֵּיחֲזִי GEYXAZIY 2Kings 4:27

Post by Isaac Fried »

It seems to me that גֵּיחֲזִי = גע-היא-אחז-היא, namely, "a poker and a grabber." See 2Kings 4:27 for his rough treatment of the noble woman Kings(2) 4:8) of Shunem in her moment of distress:
KJV: "but Gehazi came near to thrust her away"

And, add to this the real possibility of Gehazi being the actual father of the woman of Shunem's child.
