This is the best English treatment of gaʿya I have found. But the book is only still in print via a POD (print-on-demand) edition of unacceptable quality. So, I figured it would be useful to expand access to this resource in the form of these web pages. And the digital format offers some advantages beyond the paper format. For example:
- Copy & paste of the Unicode English and Hebrew text is possible. (But please keep in mind that this is still copyrighted material. I have merely obtained permission to post these web pages, not convinced SBL Press to relinquish any other rights.)
- References to numbered sections (e.g. "#345") are hyperlinks.
- Manuscript sigla such as "C" are defined (expanded) when hovered over. (Also, I add an "Ms" prefix to all sigla, i.e. I use "MsC" not merely "C".)
