Typo in Or HaChaim translation?

The Sefaria.org English translation of the Or HaChaim commentary on Gen. 3:12 has this:

"Our sages have said: אין כודקין מן המזכח ולמעלה, 'once something (a slaughtered animal) has arrived on the altar (having passed several stages of inspection on the way) there is no need to again check its suitability as a sacrifice.'"

Is כודקין here a typo for בודקין or is there another reason for the initial kaf instead of bet?

Thank you,

David

David,

There is no כודקין in Hebrew; it is בודקין.

David,

On Gen. 3:6 Sefaria says:
Seems to me that ותרא האשה כי טוב means that she made a conscious decision of opting for the acquisition of intelligence and morality whatever the consequences.

Let's add that there's an apparent typo in that המזכח should be המזבח.

Thank you to both posters for confirming that it is a typo.
