Just to clarify, Because I wrote something contradicting.
the שאת in Lame. is about destruction
while we said that the שאון in Jer. is about noise.
But it could be that the שאון in Jer. is also about destruction.
And so, we can go back to Num with this also.
And if one wants to play with the letters, so he can change the letters of שאון to אנוש
and then the בני אנוש is like בני שת for those who understand it as "whole people"
There are a few ways how to understand these verses and we can go back and forth a few times with this.
