sounds a little weird.

By the way, the מלאכה as work is also based on send=שלח.
the מלאכה is parallell to משלח יד

Anyway,
Even Shoshan?
do you read Hebrew?

I assume you meant Modern hebrew in relation to even-shoshan's definitions?- No not really, I just get by with the basics (7 year old stuff) plus a big fat modern hebrew dictionary helps, although I do understand how its organised and the abbreviations used in the concordance.

Yes, 'work' , was a bit stupid after I wrote it. It just strikes me as something to pay attention to when throughout Haggai is a thus says the Lord to Haggai the Prophet etc, now a sudden change in introduction. Sometimes an oddity is there to say something extra, or to call us to pay extra attention to it, that is how I read sometimes.
