In Biblical Hebrew, can יגידו be used as a participle (to mean messenger), and is it used in that sense anywhere in the Hebrew Bible?

And would the spelling be the same as it is here?

I ask because one lexicon lists these as it's meanings:

to be conspicuous, tell, make known
(Hiphil) to tell, declare
to tell, announce, report
to declare, make known, expound
to inform of
to publish, declare, proclaim
to avow, acknowledge, confess 1a

messenger (participle)
(Hophal) to be told, be announced, be reported

Mike,
According to BibleWorks search, the participle form, מַגִּ֖יד, is used 20 times in 19 verses. It is translated "messenger" in Jer 51:31 2x.
Other places where the participle is a noun, but doesn't translate well to messenger are: Gen 41:24; Jdg 14:19; 2Sa 1:5-6,13; 4:10;15:13; 18:11; Isa 41:26;
