The previous Hebrew text, UXLC 2.5, has been updated with 145 text changes in the change file: 2026.10.19 - Changes.xml to produce UXLC 2.6. Thanks to the authors of these changes: Ben Denckla, Daniel Holman.
Daniel Holman gave 130 change items in his second review of all the Tanach books. He found 3 vowel changes and 71 accent changes, and added 60 transcription notes. Forty-six of his changes add an 'm' note to the text, demonstrating how hard it is sometimes to tell meteg from merkha in the LC text. The text now has 89 'm' notes; these notes indicate a meteg that is usually transcribed as a merkha. UXLC 2.6 directly transcribes 33,195 merkhas.
UXLC 2.6 has 1001 changes to letters (9), vowels (456), and accents (536) beyond its root text, WLC 4.20 [2016-01-25]. This count does not include changes made by the bulk editing processes: ScanReplace.InsertCGJs (405 Jerusalem, 728 meteg/CGJs) and ScanReplace.YBYAH (198 AHs). A difference file, <https://tanach.us/Supplements/WLC%204.2 ... 202.6.html>, between WLC 4.20 and UXLC 2.6 shows a total of 2295 differences in letters, vowels, and accents between the two texts.
