There are also other sites that offer up both opinions, which is why I said that it can not yet be fully established that it is a forgery. The Israeli Antiquities authority, while most respectable I agree, are not the end of the matter. I am not arguing either side, but it is a matter to consider when there is a literal 50:50 divide in the field of experts that have analysed this.

I am glad you said this. When I first read the question from him I actually believed I was missing some important reasoning behind the flow of the conversation from him.

I came to the inscription with an open mind, hoping that it was genuine. However, the first time reading it through I found the language used was stilted, unnatural, not smooth flowing like, for example, the Siloam inscription. I came to the conclusion that it is a forgery.
I brought this up because of your accusation “The reality of the situation is that neither do you speak Hebrew nor do you have any intuitions regarding how the language finds expression.” Is it you who does not have intuitions regarding how Biblical Hebrew finds expression?
