I am looking for something that would start with the easiest chapters (based on syntax and grammar) and progress to more difficult ones. I suspect this would require a lot of subjective decisions being made.
I am looking for something similar to the lists found in "Hebrew for Life: Strategies for Learning, Retaining, and Reviving Biblical Hebrew", but more granular (done by chapter not just by book)
Thanks,
Andy

Re: Graded reading list for reading the Hebrew Bible?
The workbook and graded reader associated with Kutz & Josberger’s Learning Biblical Hebrew starts with a simplified version of the Joseph Story from Genesis. I think it’s probably the best introduction to reading Hebrew for comprehension that I have encountered. After the simplified story, it presents the entirety of the text of both Jonah and Ruth with vocabulary helps and some annotation.

I’m sure that people have asked this question many times in the Facebook group NBLM (Nerdy Biblical Languages Majors), so I’ll try to get some information from there.airichman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 04, 2025 2:35 pm I am looking for something that would start with the easiest chapters (based on syntax and grammar) and progress to more difficult ones. Re: Graded reading list for reading the Hebrew Bible?
Here is a post from NBLM where someone asked a question about the difficulty level of various Hebrew books in the Bible.
